Why MEGA PRESS automated print

Since 1996, we set out to digitize the print market.

Printing made for people, built by MEGA PRESS.

MEGA PRESS began in 1996 as a small print shop, then built Korea's first internet-based automated print-ordering system in-house, leading the printing industry's shift to digital.

Automation runs the system, but people review and revise every proof themselves. That is how an ordering manager ends up doing less work, not more.

Individuals and businesses finish a print job on one screen, with no calls or emails back and forth. We carry that same way of working to six countries, including the US and Japan, as a global print-automation company.

How we work

Build it yourself, no designer needed

Even without a designer, customers build from 50,000 templates and run everything from order to delivery on one system.

Build it yourself, no designer needed

Print made for people

Automation handles the system; people review and revise the proofs themselves. We hold that as the true value of printing.

Print made for people

Focused on the essentials

Simplicity, essence, quality, automation, integration, proof. We strip away the excess and focus on substance and quality, proven by results.

Focused on the essentials

We make the first path

We built Korea's first B2B·B2C internet auto-ordering system in-house, leading the print market's shift from analog to digital.

We make the first path

Beyond Korea, to the world

We run a six-country business network (US, Japan, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines) plus a Japan subsidiary, bringing automation print to global markets.

Beyond Korea, to the world

From floppy disks to the AI cloud

  1. 1996 — 2002 Good Feeling

    Print foundations

When even a single design file traveled on floppy and Zip disks

In October 1996, when printing was still an analog industry, we started as Good Feeling in a small space in Chungmuro, taking orders over web storage and packing and shipping every job ourselves. In 2001 we opened the Card Heaven site and built our own servers, ERP, and electronic payments.

  2. 2003 — 2007 PrintCity

    Automation foundations

As files grew larger and ordering moved from phone calls to the internet

To keep up with growing files and orders, we developed our own automation across order intake, typesetting, and production — the start of turning printing into an automated industry. In 2006 we introduced an online automated print-editing solution.

  3. 2008 — 2014 PrintCity

    B2B expansion

When anyone could start editing designs right on screen

We built a flow where the system checks customer-edited data and orders connect automatically to production. Corporate business-card auto-ordering and self-editing took hold in this period.

  4. 2015 — 2020 PrintCity

    Customer reach expansion

When even a box of business cards gets ordered from a phone

As order data moved into the cloud in people's hands, we completed a 24-hour ordering system, down to overnight unattended intake and short-run printing.

  5. 2021 — NOW MEGA PRESS

    Digital tech expansion

As data gathers in the cloud and AI enters ordering and inspection

We raise production quality with automated file checking and digital equipment, and in 2026 became the first in Asia to install the AccurioJet 30000. A challenge that began on floppy disks now continues as a future-ready platform connecting print, IT, automation, and AI.
